Investigation into west London, Ont. deaths continues – London

London police continue to investigate after two people were found dead in the west end of the city last week.

At around 4 p.m. on Thursday, police went to an apartment building in the 500 block of Proudfoot Lane after a man and a woman were found dead inside a unit.

Police say the deceased were known to each other, and that there’s no risk to public safety at this time. The names of the deceased have not yet been released.

Post-mortem examinations revealed that both died of gunshot wounds. A gun was also found at the scene.

Police have not confirmed if the deaths were a murder-suicide. “The investigation is ongoing, and we are working with the Office of the Chief Coroner to establish the circumstances,” police said in an email.
